Fifteen years ago, we started offering customized, door-to-door van service for private students with varying after school activities and schedules. We have carried that attention to detail through to all areas of our school service. Today, our school bus drivers are uniformed and carry a two-way radio to maintain constant communication with our dispatcher. In addition, our driver training and dispatch operations are geared to deliver reliable, safe, on-time service for children whether they are part of a special education program, a regular school route, or a long-distance Metco route.

In addition to having seatbelts in all of our school buses, Local Motion is the only company in the area to offer a school bus equipped with a child safety restraint system. Also, we have unique field trip buses that hold 52 adults, have motorcoach features and are built with the same safe construction as a school bus.
